Two incredibly fun, godly American visitors recently left Nalerigu-Bethany Smith and Jackie Dickens. We throughly enjoyed having them with us here in Ghana for 3 1/2 weeks.  They arrived a few days after our return trip from the US.  We were in the US for over six weeks.  Jackie and Bethany left Nalerigu to go home on Tuesday morning of this week.  Joel and I took them to the airport in Tamale, then shopped for supplies in Tamale before heading home that afternoon.

The girls enjoyed time at the hospital while here.  We loved having them with our family.  Jackie is now on to her next semester at DBU and Bethany is looking forward to her next overseas adventure, in Asia this time.

We missionary families started school two weeks ago.  It is nice to have two weeks behind us already.  I'm teaching Colt, Abigail, and Annaleigh.  Having three different preparations, I'm reminded of all the time I spent both before and after school preparing, grading, etc.  The girls are both loving being at school for awhile each day with the big kids.  Colt is plugging along in 6th grade. The girls are Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4.

Thanks for your prayers as we seek the Lord, minister to others, and listen for His voice.

  1. We are praying for you as you all start back to school. Evan is at MC so I'm trying to adjust. We all miss Ghana so terribly. Love you all.
